GREENSBORO, NC (WGHP) — Four people are dead after police reported multiple shootings in the Triad this weekend.
All of those shootings happened between early Saturday and early Sunday morning, with three in Greensboro and two in Winston-Salem.
Greensboro
- On Pinecroft Road in Greensboro, on Saturday, two people were shot dead. One man died in hospital, the condition of the other victim is still unknown.
- Around 4pm on Saturday, Calup Maynard, 26, was shot and killed on Lynnhaven Drive. He died of his injuries in the hospital.
- Around 3 a.m. on Sunday, several people were shot at Southside Johnny’s on West Market Street. Cedric Cantrell Monroe, 36, died of his injuries. Police did not say how many people were injured in the shooting, but there are victims whose condition is considered life-threatening.
Winston-Salem
This weekend marks eight homicides in Winston-Salem and five in Greensboro since the start of the year.
