According to a letter from the school’s principal, Matt Price, Jake Stevens was a career and technical education teacher.

“It is with great sadness that I am writing this note to inform you that one of our CTE teachers, Jake Stevens, passed away unexpectedly last night,” Principal Matt Price wrote in a letter to families. “Our condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and colleagues.”

The school’s student services team is available for students who need to talk, Price said.
