Amazon provides free training to UNC Charlotte employees

UNC Charlotte is working with Amazon to provide hourly staff access to free tuition for any of the 171 undergraduate undergraduate programs.

UNC Chancellor Charlotte Sharon Gaber said in a news statement that the move would help the local workforce meet “North Carolina’s evolving employment needs”.

“Charlotte has a unique position to provide flexible higher education options that meet the needs of today’s working adults and stimulate even greater economic growth, opportunity and success,” she said.
