Charlotte weather forecast for Tuesday morning

(EXACT NADHORA) — Tuesday is noticeably warmer than Monday, with temperatures hovering in the 40-50s. Temperatures will stay in the high 30s in the hill counties this morning, but temperatures will be in the upper 20s in some places as we head out the door.

You’ll want to grab those umbrellas, though, as we’ve got a line of showers heading south and east of the Tennessee border. Rain will be light to moderate, with some heavy rain forecast. Expect late morning to early afternoon to see periods of precipitation leading to wet roads by midday.

Rain will taper off in the afternoon, with highs in the upper 50s and southwesterly winds. Watch for breezes to linger this afternoon and evening before lows drop back into the 40s through Wednesday.

Wednesday will be cloudy but dry with a high of 60 degrees! Expect temperatures to reach 67 degrees on Wednesday before getting even warmer on Thursday, touching down into the 70s!

Rain will resume on Thursday as a new low pressure system affects much of the eastern US and the Deep South. Expect Thursday to be almost a repeat of Tuesday with rain and wind.
