Employee injured in shooting at Raleigh McDonald’s


RALEIGH, NC — The Raleigh Police Department said Friday it is investigating a shooting that left a man injured.

Around 7:45 p.m., Raleigh police said officers responded to a report of a shooting at the McDonald’s located at 9698 Falls of Neuse Road.

Officers on scene found a man with non-life threatening injuries who was transported to the hospital; The victim is an employee.

“We are shocked by this incident at our restaurant and are cooperating fully with the Raleigh Police Department in their investigation. Our priority is always the safety and well-being of our employees and customers,” said McDonald’s owner/operator Gaffney Gunter.

The police said that there is no threat to the public and they are investigating the circumstances of this incident.
