The Carolina Panthers will be without Pro Bowl quarterback Brian Burns (ankle) and defensive end Matt Ioannidis (back) on Sunday in their season finale against the New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome.
Ioannidis and Burns were listed as questionable for the weekend.
Marquis Haynes and rookie Amare Barno will fill in for Burns against Yetur Gross-Matas.
Panthers elevated defensive tackle Phil Hoskins off the practice squad on Saturday to fill out the defensive tackle depth chart with Ioannidis ailing. In that position, Hoskins will be partnered with Derrick Brown, Brevion Roy, Marquan McCall and Henry Anderson.
Along with promoting Hoskins from the practice squad, the Panthers also picked up cornerback Josh Norman. The team also promoted Preston Williams and center Sam Tecklenburg to the 53-man roster.
Running back D’Onta Foreman (knee) will play despite being listed as questionable on Friday.
The Saints will be without cornerback Paulson Adebo (hamstring) and guard Andrus Peet (ankle) on Sunday. They were excluded on Friday.
