GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — One person died Sunday after police found several injured inside a central North Carolina nightclub overnight, police said.

Greensboro police said officers arrived at Southside Johnny’s around 3 a.m. and found multiple gunshot victims. They were taken to a local hospital and were initially listed in stable, non-life-threatening condition, according to a police news release.

Later Sunday, police said one of the victims, identified as 36-year-old Cedric Cantrell Monroe, had died. Police are now investigating what happened at the adult entertainment facility as a murder.

The death was one of three Greensboro shooting-related deaths reported by city police this weekend. The other two were announced on Saturday. In one case, one person was shot and later died. Police identified the victim as 26-year-old Calup Maynard. In the second case, one person died, the other was seriously injured. The name of the deceased was not immediately released.

As of Sunday afternoon, no arrests had been announced in the three shootings.
