A 22-year-old girl meets the firefighters who helped her give birth

ONE WOMAN WHO WAS BORN AT A WINSTON-SALEM FIRE STATION MEETS HER HEROES. THE FIREFIGHTERS WHO DELIVERED HER WATCH AND HER REPORT SHOW US WHAT HAPPENED. GOOD. AND SUDDENLY, MOTHER SAID, CHILD. AND I DROVE AND CAUGHT IT WITH OUR MIND. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR EMS. WE WILL HEAR. NO, SORRY. COME. COME AND FIND OUT. THEY MADE A WRONG TURN. THAT GAVE US TIME TO DO OTHER THINGS. I MEAN, WE END UP CUT THE CORD, PUT THE BABY IN THE FOIL. YOU KNOW, BUY FOR BABY’S BREATH. WE PRESERVED THE AIRWAY. WE WERE SUFFERING WITH THE CHILD AT THAT TIME. THAT’S HOW IT WAS. IT WAS REALLY SPECIAL. THE LAST PERSON WE MANAGED TO COVER. AND I HOLD HER ALL THE WAY TO THE HOSPITAL. AND WHEN WE GOT TO THE HOSPITAL, THE FELDS, YOU KNOW, BRAGGED ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE SPEED THAT THE FIREMEN NEEDED TO MAKE A BABY HAPPY. AND IT WAS A GOOD WAY TO START THE LONG WEEKEND. I HAVE NEVER SEEN PHOTOGRAPHS OF ME AS A BABY AND NEVER HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT ME WHEN I WAS BIRTH. NOW, LET’S GO AHEAD OF EVERYONE. SO TODAY WILL BE THE FIRST DAY WHEN EVERYONE WILL HEAR ABOUT THIS, ABOUT THEIR BIRTH. I’M REALLY CONFUSED. I KNOW THAT OUR LIVES DON’T HAPPEN. WHAT? I AM EXCITED AND HAPPY WHEN I RECEIVED THIS CALL FROM ABOUT THAT I CAN DO IT TODAY. OH MY GOD. IT WAS UNREAL BECAUSE WE’VE NEVER SEEN ANYONE WORTHY TO CALL THEM HOME OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. WE’LL NEVER KNOW HOW THEY GET OUT. AND THIS IS 22 YEARS LATER. THAT’S WHY THEY CARRIED YOU WITH THE CHILD. OH I LOVE THIS STORY. THIS IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL STORY. THIS IS SO NICE
