UNCG will host a Chinese Studies Festival celebrating the Lunar New Year

The organization, with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, will host an event celebrating the Lunar New Year. Each year, the UNCG Department of Chinese Studies hosts a festival for students, staff and families to join in and learn about the Lunar New Year through performances, music, food and activities. After two years of COVID-19 restrictions, the annual celebration returns to campus next Friday. The event will include traditional dances, games, international cuisine, etc. The organizer said she hopes the event will raise awareness of different Asian cultures and foster a more inclusive community.
