RALEIGH, NC (WNCN) – A fight broke out Thursday night after a motorcycle and car collided along a south Raleigh road.
A CBS 17 crew on the scene confirmed that responding police officers had to detain people at the scene near the intersection of Rock Quarry and Cross Link roads.
Around 9:20 p.m., a motorcycle and a car collided in this area. It is not yet clear if any of these people were involved in the crash.
The man, who was riding a Suzuki motorcycle, was taken to a nearby hospital for observation of shoulder pain, Raleigh police said.
A CBS 17 crew reported that the Suzuki motorcycle was damaged, including parts that broke off the motorcycle.
The damaged motorcycle was lying on the ground near a Valero gas station, with at least two Raleigh police officers nearby. CBS 17 said a white BMW was involved in the crash.
Police said the crash was under investigation and no one had been named as of Thursday evening.
According to the police, no one else was injured.
