MOORESVILLE, NC (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A Mooresville man is accused of killing his wife on Sunday, Mooresville police said Monday.

Officers responded to a call from a man who said he shot his wife around 5:15 p.m. Sunday at a home in the Cherry Grove community.
Analyn Trocke, 33, was found with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. An initial investigation identified her husband, Derrick Trocke, 39, as the suspect, who was interviewed and subsequently arrested, police said in a statement. He is facing charges, including first degree murder.
Troke is being held without bond at the Iredell County Detention Center.
