RALEIGH, NC — A young man was shot and killed Thursday night in east Raleigh, police said.
Police responded to the shooting just before 11 p.m. Around 11:30 p.m., officers from the Raleigh Police Department were seen going door-to-door on Harmony Court in the Nottingham Woods neighborhood.
Police said a juvenile male was found with serious injuries and taken to the hospital. His age and condition have not been released.
At least one officer also sniffed the K-9 unit.
The area is located near the junction of Poole Road and Sunnybrook Road.
