Spartanburg District, SC (WSPA) – A man is facing numerous charges following a shooting in Spartanburg County.
According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, on April 12, deputies responded to the 200th quarter of Woodgate Drive with reference to the shooting.
Deputies arrested and charged 34-year-old Eric Charles Godfrey of Spartanburg on Friday with the following:
- four counts of attempted murder
- possession of weapons in the commission of a violent crime
- possession of firearms or ammunition by a person convicted of a violent crime

At the time of the crime, Godfrey was in custody for possession of a stolen car.
Godfrey is currently at the Spartanburg County Investigation Center.
Deputies also arrested Tiffany Elizabeth Fox, 37, of Cowpen, and accused her of obstructing justice.
According to the arrest warrant, Fox gave false information regarding the shooting at Woodgate Drive.
