Kevin Wynn admits he’s a different breed of bike builder. Winn doesn’t have a fancy shop, he works from the dining room table in his apartment. That’s all he needs for creativity. “I always tried to be different. Everyone is individual, so we have to kind of — I’m trying to show that. I think it shows through the bikes,” Wynn said. Each bike he advertises is a work of art with individuality. Many of the bikes start out as salvage from the junkyard. Vin recycles them and then painstakingly reworks them, turning each one into what he calls his “Crazy Customs”. Vin says his vision often needs a few tweaks to the original design. “Bikes tend to tell me when I’m building them what direction they’re going to go,” Wynn said. In an effort to be different, Vin managed to design a distinctly different brand of bike, which required many hours of painstaking artistic work. .Each of his custom bikes is made to be ridden. “There’s nothing more satisfying than coming up with a concept, thinking it’s a dream because it doesn’t exist at the moment, building something you thought couldn’t exist, and then physically bringing back what you envisioned in your head “, said Vin. video above to see the full story.
