(EXACT HIGHLANDS) — After a foggy start to the day, sunny skies will prevail with highs in the mid-50s.
Monday will kick off the work week with a heavy fog report for the Queen City and surrounding areas. Visibility is less than a quarter of a mile in some spots, so slow down on the road!
Temperature-wise, we’re off to a cooler start than Sunday morning with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. The morning fog will melt quickly as the N-NW winds pick up. The sky will be sunny in the late morning and until noon.

Monday will have a high in the mid 50s with a light southwest wind gusting to 18 mph. High pressure will build in the Carolinas, helping us stay dry through midweek.
Temperatures will drop into the low 30s tonight before jumping into the mid to upper 50s on Tuesday.We’ll see a gradual warming trend through the middle of the week before a cold front brings rain on Thursday.
A blast of cold air on the back of this front could give us snow on the western slopes on Friday. This can give us a light dusting at high altitudes to end the work week!
