CONCORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A Concord man’s pockets just got a little fatter after he hit a multiplier on his lottery ticket, the North Carolina Lottery announced Tuesday.

Concord resident Michael Kindley won a $100,000 prize with a $3 Powerball ticket.
On Tuesday, he claimed his prize, which was worth $71,259 after taxes. The total Powerball jackpot has grown to $653 million with the next drawing on Wednesday.
Kindley matched the numbers on the four white balls and the red Powerball to win $50,000, which doubled when he hit the multiplier.
