DAVIE COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Interstate 40 East is closed after a crash Saturday afternoon in Davie County, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

The accident happened at Mile Marker 174, near Exit 174 at Farmington Road.

I-40 East is closed for three miles starting at Exit 174 at Farmington Road.

The closure began at 2:46 p.m. and will continue until 3:46 p.m
