Denver Broncos 5 options at wide receiver Tim Patrick for 2022

Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick is out for the 2022 season If the team decides to look outside the roster for an upgrade, what are the options?

The Denver Broncos unfortunately will unpinned wide receiver Tim Patrick for the entire 2022 season after the veteran suffered a torn ACL during the team’s sixth practice.

Patrick was taken from the field during practice and the whole team stopped practice because no. 81 helped to go to the locker room.

The team’s worst fears came true.

Now the team found itself in a very interesting situation. KJ Hamler has returned to practice from the PUP list, but is expected to be monitored closely until the start of the regular season.

Tyree Cleveland is also now out, leaving the team with a bunch of young players fighting for roster spots behind Courtland Sutton and Jerry Judy.

Should general manager George Payton look for help outside of his current roster? Here are some options that may be available.

The Denver Broncos are in need of a backup after Tim Patrick’s injury

Option #1: Will Fuller (free agent)

Sure, let’s beat that drum one more time, why not?

The Denver Broncos should definitely take a look at Will Fuller, and I’m sure some of you are thinking the same thing I’ve heard from a lot of people on Twitter.

But Will Fuller is injury prone!

Sure, it’s been that way throughout his NFL career, but the guy is also a former first-round pick and one of the best proven deep threats in the NFL when he’s healthy.

At this point, you might want to take a committee approach at the receiver position anyway, and Fuller is as worthy of a dart as anyone, especially with a key starter gone with an injury.
