No. 16 Duke hosts No. 3 in its first win on an opponent’s home court when the Blue Devils take on Boston College on Saturday at Conte Forum.

Duke suffered a humiliating 84-60 loss at NC State on Wednesday night that left players and coaches wondering how they could have let this happen.

That loss, combined with an 81-70 setback at Wake Forest on Dec. 20, dropped the Blue Devils (11-4, 2-2 ACC) to 0-2 in true road games this season.

The good news for Duke is that its next game is against a team it has already beaten this season. Back on Dec. 3, the Blue Devils opened ACC play at Cameron Indoor Stadium with a 75-59 win over Boston College.

Still, the Blue Devils know they have to put up a much bigger effort on the Eagles’ home court than they did at PNC Arena on Wednesday night, when NC State scored the game’s first 15 points in a thorough rout of Duke .

“Turn the page,” Duke junior guard and team captain Jeremy Roach said after the NC State loss. “You can’t think about it. I mean, it’s over. Now we have to go take care of BC on Saturday. This is the most important lesson.”

After losing to Duke in Durham, Boston College (8-7, 2-2) picked up two ACC wins at home, beating Virginia Tech 70-65 on Dec. 21 and Notre Dame 70-63 on Tuesday night.

The game will begin Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on the ACC Network, which is available on major cable and satellite services such as Spectrum, Dish Network and DirecTV.
