ERWIN, NC — The Erwin Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting Saturday.
Erwin Police said officers responded to Price St and US 421 just after 6:00pm Saturday in response to a call about someone lying in the roadway.
Police said 41-year-old Kevin Massey was found at the scene with a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead by EMS.
Police said they are looking for several leads, but no suspects are in custody at this time.
