Fans can win the super-rare Tartan controller Xbox in this new competition

Xbox UK has teamed up with Gordon Nicholson Kiltmakers and Lochcarron of Scotland to create the official Xbox controller in the cage, timed to the 20th anniversary of the launch of the Xbox console in Scotland.

The sample is green, black and yellow and has been approved by the Scottish Tartan Office and even entered in the Scottish Tartan Register.

The design was created by Scottish designer Gordon Nicholson, who contributed to the creation of the national football team of Scotland Tartan. Anyone who wants to get their hands on this limited edition controller should follow the Xbox UK social channels (e.g. Twitter and Facebook) April 28 to get a chance to win.

It is unclear how many of these controllers will be redeemed, but given the label “super rare”, we did not expect that there will be many, so you will need to act quickly.

The Xbox tartan design was actually woven in Lochcarron, which is the oldest weaving factory in Scotland.
