Fiat is electrifying the special edition Dolcevita with the 500 and 500X Mild Hybrid

Fiat has released another special edition for the rest of the 500 line with ICE engines called Dolcevita. If you have a déjà vu, it’s because 500 Dalchevita was launched in 2019, and 500X Cabrio Dolcevita followed in 2021. However, in 2022, the models were updated with soft hybrid powertrains and several other color combinations for a fresh look. Fiat was going to ride outdoors, so the new special editions of Dolcevita are combined exclusively with a body with a soft top.

Starting with the 500X, it is equipped with a new one soft hybrid power unit which was introduced in the range earlier this year. Thus, it combines a 1.5-liter four-cylinder 4-cylinder turbocharged car with a capacity of 128 liters. s. (96 kW / 130 hp) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque with a 48-volt BSG electric motor that adds an extra 20 hp. s. (15 kW /). 20 PS) and 41 lb-ft (55 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the front axle via a new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Visually, the Dolcevita gets an exterior shade of Gelato White, with a taste paired with a discarded soft ivory top, two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome / satin accents and the Dolcevita logo on the front fenders. Inside there are soft ivory seats with white 500 logos and a dashboard in body color. Standard equipment includes a 7-inch Uconnect infotainment system, navigation, rear view camera, automatic headlights and automatic wipers.

We turn to the age 500Dolcevita is trying to add a little spice to the mix for those who aren’t ready to enter the fully electric world with new 500 E.V. Under the hood is a 1.0-liter three-cylinder FireFly engine with 69 hp. electrified since 2020 with the addition of a 12-volt BSG motor and a small lithium-ion battery.

Dolcevita is only available in Bodystyle 500 Cabrio with Gelato White paint, beige soft top, black diamond 16-inch wheels and chrome mirrors. The interior has been updated with ivory seats upholstered in Frau leather, a light wooden dashboard look, a leather gear lever and white frames on the mats.

Fiat does not disclose prices on the model, but it is expected that they will be slightly higher than the standard options of the soft hybrid.
