MORRISVILLE, NC — At least five people are in the hospital after a crash on Interstate 540 near Aviation Parkway Thursday night.
The crash happened just before 11 p.m. Tuesday on eastbound I-540 near Aviation Parkway and involved at least three vehicles, according to reporters at the scene.
As a result of the accident, one young man was injured.
Two of five lanes were closed on I-540.
Road patrol services, firefighters and ambulance service were working at the scene.
