Games for the PlayStation that we want to see in PS Plus

It’s official: PlayStation Now is dead, and PlayStation Plus is expanding to include everything the service offers in the new subscription model. Aside from the Essential level, which is now functionally identical to the PS Plus, Extra and Premium levels promise to add a variety of game options for download and streaming from the entire history of Sony consoles. The additional level allows you to download only games for PS4 and PS5, but the Premium level has these hundreds of titles, as well as the promised catalog of more than 300 games for PS1, PS2, PSP and PS3 for broadcast and download. PS Now had a limited selection of games for PS2 and a decent game library for PS3, but there were no games for PS1 or PSP at all, which could be a deciding factor for those looking to subscribe to this level.

Sony’s biggest ace up its sleeve has always been first-hand games. While Sony has expressed this many times he has no intention of offering its great first games on PS Plus at launch, the PlayStation catalog is full of amazing titles that we’d love to play in one place. Drawing on this story, there may be another way to help make this new service a success, without directly comparing it to its biggest competitor, Game Pass.

With the exception of the games currently offered in the PS Plus and PS Now collections, as well as the names of the first persons that Sony has already confirmed that they will appear after the launch of the service (Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Reverse), here are the PlayStation games we most want to see in this new version of PS Plus.
