While there will always be fan favorites in the ring, many fighters revel in being the bad guys that everyone wants to see knocked out – Jake Paul has been filling that role quite well lately. With that in mind, have you ever wondered which UFC fighters are the most loved and hated by fans online?

Well, thanks to new research from Gambling, com, they were discovered. Using social listening tool Linkfluence, they pulled data from Reddit and Twitter about the online sentiment surrounding each current boxer over the past year and ranked them based on their positive and negative sentiment to reveal the most loved and hated boxers on the internet:

Gypsy King and now King of the Internet, Tyson Fury has been voted the Internet’s favorite boxer, with 28.20% of all Reddit and Twitter posts about the two-time heavyweight champion being positive, and only 10.80% of them being negative – a true fan favorite!

Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez finished thirdrd spot with 27.10% of online reports that he is positive, just behind Shakur Stevenson at 2th after a remarkable 27.70% of posts about him on Reddit and Twitter were positive.

WBA featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz is the most hated boxer on the Internet, with 31.50% of posts about him on Reddit and Twitter expressing negative sentiment.

Following his controversial split decision win against Jack Catterall in February, Josh Taylor gets 2th place with 31.40% of online posts about him being negative, with Bronze Bomber Deontay Wilder coming in at #3rd with 25.30%.

Jake Paul has already become the most hated boxer on the internet

The study also revealed how the internet feels about YouTubers-turned-boxers Jake Paul and KSI. According to the results, it appears that there are far more negative things to say about Jake Paul online than about KSI, with 32.30% of online posts about him being negative, compared to just 18.90% for KSI. This number will also put it in quality The most hated boxer on the internet compared to the rest of today’s boxers!
