“Gifts to the Ellis Reed Parlier Scholarship Fund will go to celebrate Reed’s life and interests,” according to the scholarship’s website. “He was a bright, witty young man who will be remembered for his kindness, strong spirit and as a caring son, brother, friend and classmate.”

Parlier’s mother, Julie, and sister, Mallory, worked with Kendra Scott to create the jewelry that will be available for purchase Wednesday.

The fundraiser will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in SouthPark by Kendra Scott location on Sharon Road. Shoppers who spend $100 or more in-store will receive a “free gift.”

Attendees will also be able to enter a drawing for a chance to win a four-pack of passes to the Charlotte 49ers’ Tailgate Village and a football game for the upcoming season.

Those unable to attend may order custom jewelry online at and use code GIVEBACK-NINER at checkout by August 14th support scholarship.
