Ralph Ranknik says rumors that he has prepared a “shameful dossier” to present to entrants Manchester United manager Eric ten Haag is “completely false and completely untrue”.
Ten Hague will replace Ranknik at Old Trafford at the end of the season for the current one Ajax chief signing a three-year contract with United.
Ranknik is expected to serve an advisory role at the club for at least the next two years Reports say he has already prepared a “disgrace dossier” for the Manchester United teamwho survived another grim campaign.
But Ranknik has dismissed speculation that he has already warned Ten Hague about players at Old Trafford, and insists he has seen no evidence that the team is “unprofessional” or “selfish.”
“It’s a complete lie, a complete lie,” said Ten Hague before Manchester United’s Premier League match against Chelsea on Thursday night. “Rada never asked me to prepare a dossier for the board or Eric.
“This is absolutely untrue. I have also never criticized the attitude of players as unprofessional or selfish towards anyone. This is not true.
“I will always protect my players and I never understood any problem with being unprofessional or selfish. Obviously, players are looking for reasons why the results weren’t as good as they should have been.
“I talk to the management quite regularly and share my impressions of the current situation. It is clear that we need to create a new team and a new group of players who will lead this club to the area it should be. “
Earlier, Ranknik acknowledged that his future role at Manchester United would depend on the approval of Ten Hague.
“So far, I haven’t been able to talk to Eric because he’s focused on Ajax, and I’m focused here, but I’m definitely glad it will happen if he wants to,” Rangnik added. Sky Sports.
“I definitely think it will be reasonable, but it depends on Eric, he will be the manager next season. I’m more than happy to talk to him. “
Manchester United first impressed Rangook replaced Ole Gunnar Sulsher as coach but the results and performances soon disappeared, and now the “red devils” are only sixth in the Premier League.
Rank rejected the hopes of “United” for the Champions League after last weekend his team won 3-2 from “Arsenal” of the four best competitorsthough on Thursday they take the Chelsea side, which has also been fighting for consistency in recent weeks.
Former England midfielder Karen Carney says that the evening’s Premier League game at Old Trafford is a struggle for which side is the least out of shape.
She told Football BBC Radio 5 Live: “These are two teams that are not in shape at all.
“At least with Chelsea there were factors. I’m not saying it’s an excuse, but it is, and we can’t ignore it.
“The most important issue is the contract situation with the defenders. Chelsea’s entire side was built on a strong defense led by Thomas Tuchel and they conceded goals left, right and center.
“When half of your back line is potentially moving, it’s hard. It’s disturbing and you just see how Thomas Tuchel looks tired and exhausted. This is quite understandable, given everything he had to go through and what he had to deal with. “
Asked what Manchester United have left to play this season, Carney added: “I’d like to think it was for the fans.” They have to look at it and it was bad, it was shocking.
“They have to go out and put on a show that will delight fans because they let them down this year. The club also has.
“The top four are gone and they didn’t deserve it, but come out and try it.”
