Details of the incident are limited, but a picture posted on Facebook by the Plymouth Police Department shows the Corvette being pulled out of what looks like a shallow lake.

The man who runs the department’s Facebook page obviously found the whole incident quite amusing, stating that “the beautiful 2021 Corvette should never be used as a tool to prepare cranberry sauce. Earlier today, this Corvette became “the one you’ll find in second-hand cars.”

The report states that the driver was not injured in the accident and was prosecuted for negligence. He also apparently had some “cranberry stains on his“ members only ”jacket. The report also indicates that speed played a role in the crash.

Since only one image of Vette 2021 has been published online, it is difficult to determine how much damage it has received. In fact, almost all we can see is the flat lower body of a mid-engined sports car. We suspect that quite a lot of damage was done, especially considering that the car fell into the water.

This is not the first accident C8 corvette we met this month. A couple of weeks ago, two 2022 Corvettes hit the Copart after they got into separate crashes. Particularly sad to see the lives of these two cars, cut so short, was the fact that one, painted in caffeine metallic, drove only 433 miles (696 km) when it crashed, and the other – only 508 miles (817 km) on it odometer.
