Not the news that Arizona Coyotes – or potential trading partners – will be too excited about.
Coyote defender Jacob Chikhrun left Arizona on Saturday against Boston after a lower body injury, the team confirmed.
A hit in the second period by Derek Forbort of Boston took Chihrun out of the game. The return date has not been specified yet.
Recently, the 23-year-old Chichrun has played well, scoring 10 points in the last seven games. Chichrun is considered to be one of the main trading goals for the near future, so the teams will be sure to monitor its development in the next few days.
