Fayetteville, North Carolina — Two people were shot in a Fayetteville motel parking lot early Wednesday morning. One person died.
Fayetteville Police Department officers responded to the Travelodge at 2076 Cedar Creek Road around 3:15 a.m.
Police said one victim died at the scene. The second was taken to the district hospital with life-threatening injuries.
There was no additional information. An investigation is underway.
