One-on-one with Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn

SPARTANBURG, SC (CHARLOTTE SPORTS LIVE) – Jaycee Horn, the No. 8 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, had his rookie season cut short after suffering a season-ending foot injury in Week 3.

“I’m excited to be back,” Horn said.

Kuhn, now a sophomore from South Carolina, began training camp on the active PUP list when that foot became sore after a condition check.

“Leg [is] good, said Horn. β€œIt was never a big problem. Just some sickness.”

A surgically repaired right foot will likely limit him until he is fully fit.

Horne had to watch his team from the sidelines for most of the 2021 season, so he’s more than ready to get back into action.

“It was tough,” he said. β€œBeing a competitor, you never want to just sit back and watch. You always want to be involved and in action. He had his ups and downs.”

We asked Horne what games he had circled on the calendar, and his answer was clean.

“Man, I just can’t wait to get my jersey back on and run,” Horn said. “I’m excited about every game.”
