FOREST CITY, NC (WSPA) – Police are looking for a suspect in the shooting after a teenager was shot dead Wednesday night in Forrest City.
According to the Forest City Police Department, at 22:00 in the 300th quarter of Kizilny Lane, officers responded to the shooting.
As soon as officers arrived at the scene, they were told that the 16-year-old was in the hospital and was being treated for multiple gunshot wounds.
During the investigation, officers learned that the shooting took place on the porch of a house on Dogwood Lane.
Police said that the 16-year-old boy was shot three times, he received non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses told police it may have been a 4-door gray or silver car.
