Beijing (Gasgoo) – On February 17, VOYAH, Dongfeng Motor’s premium EV brand, officially announced its foray into the European market via Norway, becoming China’s first state-owned brand of new energy vehicles to expand in the world.

The fresh high-end EV brand will make its official debut in June 2022 in Oslo, Norway. The city will also have the first VOYAH flagship store abroad.
Currently, VOYAH has one serial model on the market, VOYAH FREE. The model is positioned as a smart premium electric SUV priced at RMB 338,000 ($ 53,361), setting a new standard for Chinese EVs. The brand aims to present its VOYAH FREE model to the Norwegian public in the last quarter of this year.
It has taken VOYAH only six months to begin its global journey. The young EV brand has attributed this achievement to its parent company, Dongfeng Motor’s vast resource worldwide.
According to VOYAH, it will cooperate with Dongfeng Motor Industry Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd. (DFMIEC), the first nationally approved foreign trade corporation in the Chinese automotive industry. DFMIEC’s business covers Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America, in more than one hundred countries and regions.
Norway is VOYAH’s first stop on globalization, and more European countries are waiting for its presence.
In particular, based on the consumer requirements of Norway and other European countries, laws and regulations, and the market environment, VOYAH began to develop and test additional products designed for the European market.
