SpaceX has released a video dedicated to the 20th anniversary of his birth. The footage shows key moments from the first two decades of operation, and as you will see, it was a wild trip.

Founded by billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk on March 14, 2002, a private space company made its first orbital launch with the Falcon 1 rocket six years later in 2008.
Since then, milestones have been happening fast and fast, with remarkable breakthroughs involving the first space flight team to launch and land the first-degree booster is a maneuver that seemed impossible until SpaceX actually did.
Figuring out a way to land a launch vehicle has been key to SpaceX’s goal of building a reusable rocket system to drastically reduce space travel costs. After several failed landing attempts, when her Falcon 9 rocket overturned and exploded shortly after returning to Earth, SpaceX made its first overclocking landing in October 2015. Since then, it has greatly improved the maneuver, allowing the company to restore Falcon 9 boosters for multiple use.
In addition to deploying small satellites for various companies and organizations, California’s SpaceX has also become a major partner of NASA for flights to and from the International Space Station (ISS). It began with the delivery of cargo by the Dragon spacecraft and then moved on to astronaut flights using the Dragon Crew.
The the first flight with a crew on the ISS occurred in 2020 when NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Benken traveled to the orbital outpost and out of it aboard the Crew Dragon spacecraft. The historic flight also returned crewed missions to U.S. territory for the first time since the end of the 2011 Space Shuttle program.
Since the first SpaceX flight with a NASA crew, Crew Dragon has been used for several missions with a crew on the ISS, and a fourth operational flight with four astronauts is currently scheduled for next month.
SpaceX, of course, also has an award for “the most amazing payload sent into space” after it launched the Starman and Tesla Roadster mannequins into orbit. test flight of his powerful Falcon Heavy Rocket in 2018.
Apart from stupid payloads, Musk still has serious ambitions for SpaceX, and the company is currently preparing the first orbital test flight of its next-generation Starship spacecraft, which will deliver crews to the moon in the coming years and possibly on Mars. Musk has often spoken of his dream of once building an autonomous city on Mars to guarantee the survival of humanity in the event of a catastrophe on Earth, and this is not a plan he does not seem to be abandoning any time soon.
Closer to home, SpaceX recently launched its first fully civilian orbital flight, sending four amateur astronauts on a three-day journey around the Earth using its Falcon 9 rocket and the Crew Dragon spacecraft, paving the way for a potential space tourism business.
He also launched his own Starlink Online Initiative from Space which uses a growing group of small satellites to provide broadband for earthlings, with unserved and underserved communities the main goal of the company.
Few will dispute the idea that SpaceX has exceeded expectations (and then some) over the past two decades, and observers are excited to see what the team is capable of achieving over the next 20 years.
