Spy shots show that the MPV rides on a chassis mounted higher than that of a conventional car, and lower than that of an SUV. Sliding doors with electric drive correspond to the high class of the model.

According to Zhao’s Weibo publication, the new MPV model will have a 2-2-3 seat layout with a total seating area larger than the conventional oil-fueled model. The rear seat can lie flat so passengers can rest. The wide cargo space also contributes to the excellent use of space.

Equipped with a rechargeable battery BYD, which has not yet launched MPV, will come with two power solutions – EV (pure electric) and hybrid electric – for consumers with different needs.
BYD Auto Industry Company Limited, a subsidiary of BYD Company Limited, and Daimler Greater China Limited, signed an agreement in December 2021 under which the former will own a 90% stake in DENZA New Energy. Although the deal is due in mid-2022, BYD Auto Industry has already set up a wholly-owned subsidiary for the DENZA brand, indicating that the Chinese automaker has decided to revive the premium brand at a faster pace.
