Ford built only the 343 Heritage Edition GT in 2006, and is now on the road for one less due to a poor three-pedal workout.
The sad spectacle sees a wrecked supercar, but that’s exactly what Florida residents saw on the side of the road in Boca Raton just before the weekend of Friday, April 29th. The victim was Fr. Ford GT y Livery Heritage Gulf Gulfwho turned around and crashed into a tree.
The supercar was purchased at Barrett-Jackson’s auction in Palm Beach, which took place less than a month ago on April 7-9. The cost of the hammer was $ 704,000 typical for one of these rare beasts.
According to police, 50-year-old driver Robert J. Guarini crashed due to “not knowing how to operate the shift knob,” and lost control of the car while shifting into second gear.

There is conflicting information between what Guarini told police and what he said Road and track. On the phone, Guarini told the publication that the accident occurred while shifting from first to second gear, not down.
“I don’t want people to think I was racing at 90 miles an hour,” Guarini said. “I was driving 35 miles an hour.”
In addition to the manual massacre, Guarani also said the car was on old tires, was freshly detailed, and that the road was dirty.
Whatever really happens, the result is the same – a supercar with a huge bill for repairs. The damage is great but cannot be repaired.
Right behind the driver is a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 that produces 550 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission, which requires a little more care and attention than a two-pedal car. This particular example has also been upgraded to the Penske Racing suspension and CORSA Performance exhaust.
There was reportedly no damage other than some shattered egos, but to add insult to the destruction, police also issued a Guarini report for driving disqualified and driving an unregistered vehicle. Guarini said the car fell under the policy and that his license was suspended due to a DMV error.
