The Iowa prodigy makes a national name in chess. Her name is Irene Faye, and she is recognized as the best chess player in her age group at USH. She hopes to be the best in the world and she doesn’t have “I don’t play that long”. Almost two years, about a year and a half, “said Irene Faye. Her name is Irene Faye, and she is considered the best chess player in her age group in the United States.

Her hope is to be the best in the world and she doesn’t play that long.

“Almost two and a half years,” Irene Faye said.

Irene’s parents were approached by one of her teachers about her chess skills.

She now devotes two hours a day to exercise, and her parents support her passion.

“We are very proud of her. And every day we see how hard she works,” said her mother, Yan Jiao.

“Actually, it’s something that just amazes us because it’s not easy,” added her father, Jay Faye.

She has taken home many titles from tournaments that make up medals and trophies as big as she is. Irene says her love of the game makes her come back.

“I like tactics, and my favorite figure is a knight. My strategy seems to be that sometimes I take advantage to take up more space,” Irene Faye added.

Irene is currently training for the International Chess Tournament in June in Florida.

She hopes to become the best chess player in the world.
