OnePlus Nord 3 has appeared on one of the brand’s official websites, confirming a quick launch for a new major contender for a mid-range smartphone.

The phone was spotted by Mukul Sharma’s hint (via Android Authority) on the OnePlus India website.

This is literally all for information about the new phone, but it would seem that this is in line with previous claims that the OnePlus Nord 3 is being tested in India under the name OnePlus Meili. We could expect to launch the phone in June or July.

Other details that have leaked around the phone include some potential specs. It is claimed that the OnePlus Nord 3 will follow the refresh rate of 90 Hz and a 4500 mAh battery of its predecessor, OnePlus Nord 2 (pictured).

It is also claimed that the phone will have a Mediatek Dimensity 8000 series processor.

One of the claims is that it can increase the charging speed from 67 watts to 80 or 150 watts. Given that the company’s current (and only recently released) flagship phone OnePlus 10 Pro went with 80 watts, we would assume the former is more likely.

Last year’s OnePlus Nord 2 5G is notable for its competitiveness with the OnePlus 9, with a strong camera and excellent performance, making the latter pointless. Perhaps it was indicative that the OnePlus didn’t even bother with the OnePlus 10 this year.

OnePlus seems to be playing quite a bit with this mid-range space at the moment, with regional variations such as the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Ace floats in the air.
