How are the Alabama footballers?

The 2022 NFL Combine continues, and there are many Alabama football players present. However, most of them are unable to participate in sports tests due to existing injuries. Star receivers such as Jameson Williams and John Matchy are recovering from knee injuries after the season, and corner Josh Job and Jalin Armor-Davis are also unable to participate.

In addition, Evan Neal decided to wait until the day of the professional to conduct sports testing. Most of the noise around him is focused on his weight and body composition. He is incredibly athletic despite 337 pounds.

Because of this we have only two former Alabama footballers involved in the exercise. We will have more information as soon as the defenders come out on the field, but so far data from Slade Bolden and Brian Robinson.

Bolden had the slowest jerk is 40 yards from the receiversbut he showed some ability while working with Tide. He is not known for his speed, so his testing shouldn’t hurt him. He still has a chance to be drafted on day 3 and he will be a priority non-drafted free agent if he is available.

Robinson got 4.53that put him in the middle of a pack with current backs this year. He was faster than college stars Kairen Williams and Kennedy Brooks, but slower than top-ranking prospects such as Kenneth Murray and Bryce Hall. Given its size this is a good time to run.

We still need the measurements of players like Chris Allen, Phil Mathis and Christian Harris. This will give us information on what to expect from the defensive side of the ball, and some of these players will be priority targets on Day 2 of the NFL Draft.

Without Evan Neil or Jameson Williams, there would be no star that would shine in Alabama football. However, this is a great opportunity for former players to climb up.
