Vivo has just announced its new flagship smartphone Vivo X80 Pro. This device appeared several times before launch, but finally became official. This was announced in China, although a global model will also appear soon.

At the same time, this phone really resembles its predecessor. It is made of metal and glass or metal and vegan leather, depending on the model. It has a very thin frame and a curved display. A hole for the center display camera is also included here.

The Vivo X80 Pro includes ZEISS optics and a V1 + image processing unit

All of its physical buttons are located on the right side, and a large camera island is on the back. ZEISS optics is again part of the package, including the company’s anti-glare coating.

The Vivo X80 Pro is a great phone, no doubt about it. This phone has a 6.78-inch FullHD + AMOLED display. This is an LTPO (3.0) display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, it, by the way, supports adaptive refresh rate.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 powers the device, though the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant also comes. This option can be used in the global version of the phone, at least in some markets.

The Vivo X80 Pro comes in models with 8GB and 12GB of RAM, and these options include 128GB and 256GB of memory respectively. Vivo used LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash drive here.

Charging 80 watts is also included, along with Android 12

The kit also includes a battery with a capacity of 4700 mAh, and the device supports wired charging with a capacity of 80 watts. Note that wireless charging with a power of 50 watts is also supported.

Android 12 comes with a pre-installed device along with OriginOS company in China. Funtouch 12 will be included in other markets, as is the case with previous devices from the company.

Below the display is an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The phone supports Bluetooth 5.2 and it comes with an NFC chip and 5G support.

The phone has five cameras and a new Samsung ISOCELL GNV camera sensor

There are four cameras on the back and one on the front. The 50-megapixel main camera (Samsung’s ISOCELL GNV sensor, OIS) is supported by a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera (Sony IMX586 sensor). A 12-megapixel telephoto camera (2x optical zoom, Sony IMX663 sensor) is also included, as well as an 8-megapixel telephoto (5x optical zoom).

The only 32-megapixel unit is located on the front of the phone. Note that this phone also includes a Vivo V1 + chip, which is an image processing chip developed by the company.

The device is 9.1 mm thick and weighs 215 grams. Vivo has announced three device options: black, orange and blue, all of which you can see in the images provided. Price starts at 5499 yuan ($ 839).
