GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — A suspect wanted in a homicide that happened in Washington County over the weekend has been captured in Greenville, officials said Tuesday.
Raven Williams was apprehended, arrested and taken into custody late Monday night by Washington County Sheriff’s Office, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and Greenville Police Department. She was found in an apartment complex in Greenville.
Williams was taken into custody without incident and transported back to Washington County. A warrant was issued for first degree murder on her, and she is being held without bond at the Washington County Detention Center.
Deputies responded around 1:30 a.m. Sunday to the Pea Ridge area of the county. They found a shot dead man. His name and connection to Williams have not been released.
