Which Vaporware car do you want to really come to life?

Automotive paratechnics can be very frustrating at times. Whether it’s a start-up company trying to gain even a tiny bit of a foothold in the market, or an established brand that promises something far less than it seems, this practice more often than not disappoints consumers. With that in mind, we wonder which automotive steam gear you’d most like to see actually come to life.

A few decades ago, the concept of vaporware was less common than it is today. However, some automakers had grandiose plans that never came to fruition. Look no further than cars like these Youabian Puma for clear evidence of just that. Apparently only three units were sold before the entire project went into obscurity. Still, that’s three units more than we’d expect from most car companies that have made wild claims about exotic hypercars that haven’t come true.

Our lead image SP Automotive Chaos, which we have discussed in detail here. Its creator initially stated that deliveries would take place early this year, but we have yet to hear of any prototype being tested, let alone a production version delivered to an actual customer. But we’d love for that to happen, because the Chaos should come with up to 3,065 horsepower (2,285 kW). Who doesn’t want to see this thing in action?

There are many others we would like to see as well Devel sixteen who made wild claims of his own years ago. Whenever it finally arrives, it should come with at least 5,000 hp. (3,728 kW) from the V16 powerplant. Then again, who wouldn’t enjoy watching that kind of power kill a set of tires? We bet he could burn through a set of sticky Michelins in no time.

There are certainly other examples of automotive vapor-resistant hardware, but which one do you most want to see actually make it into the real world? Let us know in the comments below.
