If the last two years have taught us anything, it must be that things can change quickly. In the used car market, prices have soared for a number of reasons, including the lack of new cars, thanks to chip shortage. Despite this, there are still a number of cars for enthusiasts at reasonable prices that have led us to our today’s issue. What used car can you buy today for $ 15,000 or less that will become collectible in ten years?
Typically, collectible cars are associated with one thing, a lot of money. For example, the new limited production Lamborghini Countach should become the last queen of garages for the super-rich. This does not always have to be the case. Until a few years ago cars were as old Toyota Landcruiser one could get for pennies compared to what they cost today.
We significantly complicate the situation by limiting our budget to only $ 15,000. Obviously, special cars are much harder to find for that kind of money. In addition, the used haystack on the market is much larger, and it is much harder to figure out at this price.
Perhaps a smart move is to look for something in another market that will be legalized around the same time. While this is impractical for most people, those who have bought a small mileage R34 Nissan GT-R years ago will probably be about to make a big profit, as they will soon become legal here in the US.
At the same time, there are probably some very reliable options that each of us could get today. They recently included Hagerty in the annual bull market list FB Mazda RX-7, Suzuki Samurai and Audi TT Quattro Coupe. These are all fun cars that can now be purchased for less than $ 15,000.
We also really like the Volvo 245. It is really practical, easy to operate, reliable, not too hard to find, very unique and will probably stand out even more in ten years than it is today.
