Dacia recently has updated its entire range with a new emblem, but a small piece of the puzzle was missing: the LCV variant of the Duster. The Dacia Duster Commercial, as it’s called in the UK, debuted with the same visuals as the recently tightened passenger option.
This is not the first time we are seeing an LCV based on the second generation Duster. In 2018, the company offered a similar one van conversionwhile in 2020 they launched a single cab pickup truck. However, the new Duster Commercial is the first LCV to get a revised grille with a DC badge and new Dacia lettering on the tailgate. In fact, the only difference from the light version is the darkened rear windows due to the application of an opaque film.
The entry-level Essential comes standard with Y-shaped LED DRLs, black roof rails, body-colored bumpers and a set of 16-inch steel wheels. The more expensive Expression adds 16-inch alloy wheels, body-colored door handles and fog lights. Finally, the more suitable diesel 1.5 dCi produces 113 hp. (85 kW / 115 hp) and is offered in 4×2 and 4×4 variants.
The Dacia Duster Commercial is now available to order in the UK with prices starting at £13,995 ($17,064) for petrol and from
£16,845 ($20,527) for diesel excluding VAT. The starting price is £1,200 ($1,463) higher than its predecessor, in line with a trend in the automotive sector due to higher production costs.
