Beijing (Gasgoo) – On February 18, EV Geely’s premium brand, ZEEKR, celebrated the grand opening of its global flagship store in Shanghai.
The grandiose ZEEKR center is a two-storey space. On the first floor, ZEEKR Hall, exhibited products, and on the second floor, ZEEKR Pub, functions as a center of user experience.
According to ZEEKR’s plans, the car brand intends to expand its chain of stores to more than 300 by the end of 2022.
The implication is that the monthly brand is working on speed and volume of production. Compared to other Chinese EV startups, by November 2021 XPeng has 311 stores in the country, while NIO has 384 NIO Houses, hundreds more will appear.
ZEEKR’s ambitions are not unfounded. In the first month of 2022, ZEEKR delivered 3,530 vehicles, bringing the total supply to 9,537 vehicles since delivery began in late October 2021.
Based on its current performance, ZEEKR has set an annual sales target to work with, supplying 70,000 vehicles in 2022. In addition, the brand plans to send its only model on the market, ZEEKR 001, to Europe next year. By 2025, the brand hopes to get a total export of 100,000 cars.
It should be noted that today the brand announced that ZEEKR 001 will soon receive the first OTA update. ZEEKR OS 1.1.1 has 25 new features with over 200 user experience improvements.
